Arsenal have a new name among their top ten biggest ever signings following their stunning deadline day swoop for Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey.
The Gunners were after the Ghanaian throughout the 2020 summer transfer window and finally paid his £45million buyout clause to land him at the last minute.

He joins the likes of Nicolas Pepe, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette on Arsenal’s list of priciest deals.
Pepe remains the most expensive player to head to north London but is yet to truly show his best for the club.
He’ll be hoping to hit top form in the top-flight this season and justify his mammoth price-tag.
Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are also on the list and have both enraged the fanbase over recent years for differing reasons.
The Gunners’ top ten is certainly a mix of success stories, pricy flops and a bit of everything in-between.
