The former France international was caught out in the tunnel urging the 20-year-old ‘not to play’ with Vinicius after slipping to a 1-0 half time deficit in Germany.

It is claimed by Marca that, while Vinicius was not directly referenced in the conversation, it was the Brazilian who the pair were discussing.
The report goes on to claim that Mendy only passed the ball to Vinicius, who both play on the left, three times during the second half following the conversation.
