Unfortunately for Gunners fans, Mourinho’s record against Arsenal is nothing short of incredible.
The Portuguese has never lost a home game against Arsenal in ten previous meetings in all competitions (W6 D4) – versus no side has he faced more matches at home in his career without ever suffering defeat.
He was famed for his brilliant record over the Gunners during his first reign at Chelsea, and kept up his successes when he returned to Stamford Bridge for a second tenure and then moved to Manchester United.
If Spurs win on Sunday, Mourinho could become only the second Tottenham manager in history to win both their first two games against Arsenal, having claimed victory in his first north London derby back in July.
