Juventus v Barcelona: What has been said?

Sadly, we will have to wait a little longer for Ronaldo vs Messi – and the Juventus superstar is not happy about missing out on the reunion.

The old rivals were set to face off in the Champions League tonight but the Portuguese star has been in quarantine at home in Turin since testing positive for COVID-19.

Ronaldo took another PCR (swab) test on Tuesday in a late bid to play but, despite being asymptomatic, it again showed he has the illness.

In a message on Instagram on Tuesday afternoon, Ronaldo insisted he was ‘feeling good and healthy’ and declared that the ‘PCR IS BULL****’ – questioning the efficiency of the swab tests.

It comes after Ronaldo’s sister Katia Aveiro suggested coronavirus itself is a hoax following her brother’s first positive test.

“If Cristiano Ronaldo has to wake the world up, I have to say he really is a prophet from God. Thank you,” she wrote.

“I believe that today thousands of people will stop believing as much in this pandemic, in the tests and in the measures taken like me… the biggest fraud I have ever seen since I was born. Open your eyes please.”
