Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp jokes Fulham are ‘good-looking’ – just like their manager Scott Parker!

Jurgen Klopp hailed Scott Parker’s LOOKS ahead of Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Fulham on Sunday.

The Reds were travelling to west London in the hope of leapfrogging Tottenham in the Premier League table following Spurs’ 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.

However, an impressive Fulham side held the champions to a draw as Mohamed Salah’s penalty cancelled out Bobby De Cordova-Reid’s opener.

Asked about Fulham’s being a good footballing side, Liverpool boss Klopp paid Fulham manager Parker an unusual pre-match compliment.

He told Sky Sports: “They are. I’m not the only one who’s seen that.

“They’re really good. They’re a good looking football team, like the manager, he looks good! I don’t know him well.

“So everything is nice apart from the results so far, but the way they play is impressive.”

Liverpool started the first-half at Craven Cottage, in front of 2,000 returning fans, slowly.

Alisson, who was restored to the starting line-up after recovering from a hamstring injury, kept the hosts at bay by denying Ivan Cavaleiro and Ademola Lookman.

He could do nothing about Bobby De Cordova-Reid’s thunderous shot, though, which gave Fulham a deserved 25th-minute lead.

However, the goal was cancelled out by a late Mohamed Salah penalty.
