Oleksandr Usyk will continue his move into the heavyweight ranks when he faces off against Derek Chisora later this month.

Having dominated at cruiserweight for several years, Usyk moved up into the showpiece division for his last fight.

He beat America’s Chazz Witherspoon last October and is eager to set up a heavyweight showdown with either Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury in the near future.

Up first, Usyk will return to action later this month, a year on from his last bout due to the complications with the COVID-19 lockdown.

He is set to face British veteran Chisora following his win over David Price last year.

The 12-round heavyweight clash was originally planned for May 23 at The O2 Arena in London.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, that date had to postponed and is now set for Saturday, October 31.

The time and location of the fight has not been confirmed as of yet.
