Ben Foster believes talkSPORT’s very own Simon Jordan should be running for Prime Minister.

The outspoken co-host never fails to make controversial statements, which often blow hot and cold with listeners.

However, he has a big fan in Foster, who has insisted that the country is in dire need of a leader who ‘says it how it is’ after listening to Jordan earlier in the day.

“I listened to Simon earlier and he’s bob on to be honest with you,” Foster said. “He’s exactly right.

“I’ll give you your dues Simon, you should be running for Prime Minster in my eyes mate!”

Jordan then joked: “Thank you, Ben, but it’s easy to talk sense when you’re sat next to Jim White every day!”

Foster then added: “You talk sense though and that’s what we need in this country – somebody who talks sense and lays it out exactly how it is.”

Earlier today, it was revealed the Premier League are set to ditch the controversial pay-per-view model after this weekend’s matches.

Jordan, however, believes PPV matches should NOT be scrapped and should be halved instead.

He said: “I think there’s a moral argument to price it properly, and pricing it at £15 is not pricing it properly.

“You have to pay for something what it’s worth and ultimately it has to be fair and equitable, and it has to be balanced.

“If the only content that can be delivered… you pay a TV license to watch the BBC, you don’t get it for free. So by definition I do feel there’s a balance to be struck.

“I think it should probably be somewhere in the region of £7.99.”
