Spain gives final approval to Catalan amnesty bill

Spanish parliamentarians voted connected Thursday by a tiny borderline to yet o.k. an amnesty for hundreds of separatists who took portion successful the amerciable and unsuccessful bid for the independency of Catalonia from Spain successful 2017.  

The 177-172 vote, which overturned a veto by the precocious house, could mean that former Catalan determination president Carles Puigdemont, who is simply a fugitive from Spanish instrumentality successful Belgium, tin instrumentality location without fearfulness of punishment.

The measure has drawn choler from conservatives and sparked far-right demonstrations past year.
