Thomas Meunier was seen laughing with Jordan Henderson over how he won England’s penalty after their 2-1 win against Belgium.

England leapfrogged Roberto Martinez’s side in their Nations League group thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford and Mason Mount on Sunday.

The Three Lions had to come from behind at Wembley as Romelu Lukaku gave Belgium the lead from the penalty spot after Eric Dier had recklessly fouled him.

But England had the chance to draw level when Meunier pulled Henderson down in the box from a corner, which saw referee Tobias Stieler point to the spot.

And Rashford took the opportunity as he fired past former Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet six minutes before half-time.

Mount’s deflected strike on 64 minutes put England in front in a much-improved second-half performance.

At full-time, cameras showed Meunier, who was with Henderson, doing a funny impression of the Liverpool captain’s successful attempt to win the penalty.
