Tyson Fury has never been much of a fan of Anthony Joshua’s opponent Kubrat Pulev.

Despite sitting on the fence for his fight prediction, the ‘Gypsy King’ has been critical of the Bulgarian heavyweight for several years.

A clip from one particular interview has now resurfaced in which Fury slammed Pulev over his defeat to Wladimir Klitschko.

Pulev was knocked out by the Ukrainian in 2014. A year later, it was Fury’s turn to face him.

In the build-up, the Brit tore apart every single world title defence on Klitschko’s record.

He turned up at the first press conference in Dusseldorf and stunned German media with his lack of respect for the champion or his former challengers.

Regarding Pulev, Fury told Boxing News back in 2015: “Kubrat Pulev, another guy, 6ft 4ins from Bulgaria with no money and nothing.

“Comes into a heavyweight title fight and stands in the ring like that there [raises his hands in an awkward stance].

“Some big stiff stupid European fighter.

“And stood in front of a man who can knock a wall down.

“Bum.”
