Dana White was left in genuine awe on Saturday after witnessing Khaos Williams deliver a stunning knockout of Abdul Razak Hassan.

Although 2020 has been a chaotic year, the UFC have continued to deliver world class fights and jaw-dropping moments.

Whether it was the epic lightweight fight between Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje, Joaquin Buckley’s violent spinning wheel kick KO of Impa Kasanganay on Fight Island or Khabib’s retirement, the MMA organisation has delivered.

However, despite 2020 finally drawing to a close, the action has not faltered one bit and Williams provided yet another highlight reel finish to the delight of the boss.

The Detroit-native finished Hassan inside 30 seconds at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas with a perfectly timed right-hand which folded the Ghanaian in half and forced the referee to step in and stop the fight.

So impressed was UFC president White, he called the finish ‘one of the most vicious knockouts I’ve ever seen in my f****** life.’

Speaking after his emphatic victory, ‘The Oxfighter’ (named so after his freakish strength from a young age) sent a warning to the entire welterweight division.

“This feels amazing,” Williams said. “This is more important than that first one for me.

“I came in with a splash, let the division know, let the world know I was here and this one just let everybody know it wasn’t no fluke. This is more important than my debut.

“That’s why I took the time to just dedicate all my time to it. I put a lot of stuff on hold, muted my life, my social life, just put everybody on the backburner and was just focused. Here we are.

“This was the year that really changed my life. I’ve been grinding for a minute, all the hard work and dedication, all the years; it amounted up to this moment.

“A lot of people slept on me and here I am.

“I didn’t know it was going to go this fast – I’m not a mind reader of course, but I knew it was either going to be him or it was going to be me, and it wasn’t going to be me.”
