When will England play Scotland at Euro 2020? Date revealed for Auld Enemies to clash at Wembley

It’s official, England will play Scotland at next summer’s rearranged European Championship.

Euro 2020 has been rescheduled for next summer following the impacts of the COVID-19 lockdown.

The draw for the tournament’s group stage was completed in November 2019 and placed England in Group D with Croatia and the Czech Republic.

The final place was draw as the winner of Play-off Path C with qualifying yet to be fully decided.

Scotland were in that path and beat Serbia on penalties to book their place at the tournament and a date with Auld Enemies England.

England v Scotland: When is it?

Euro 2020 will get under way on Friday, June 11, 2021.

England will face Croatia in their Group D opener on June 13, while Scotland face the Czechs in their first tie on June 14.

Then, it’ll be the big one as England face Scotland at Wembley on Friday, June 18.

It will kick-off at 8pm under the arch in London and will be a repeat of their classic encounter at Euro 96.

England won that day 2-0 thanks to goals from Alan Shearer and Pau Gascoigne.

England and Scotland’s most recent meetings came in qualifying for the 2018 World Cup.

The Three Lions won 3-0 at Wembley before a 2-2 draw at Hampden Park.
